Celebrating a life of a great man
Miruri valued family and friends, he was a loyal friend who kept his friendship from young age. We have seen him remain loyal to his childhood friends like Reuben M’Mbui, the late Kamathi Marangu, Dr Ben Muthiora and Mwenda Mutungi to name but a few. Members of the larger family relied on him for advice as he was known to be so knowledgeable on many things. Miruri was a problem solver as he had an opinion on how to solve any problem. His wise counsel was sought out by many. He was honest, reliable and the diplomat of the family. He modelled great humility and love for all as he always had something good to say to all. He was a peace maker, always working hard to create peace within the family. Many people looked up to him as a counsellor, mentor and role model. He was articulate in whatever he did, paying attention to details, from his smartness, orderliness, and the way he spoke softly and firmly.

Dear, I am out of words because the world seems too big for me. We met in 1990 and we were blessed with two beautiful kids. You have been a wonderful husband, caring dad and a mentor to me and our children. We will miss your care, your love and company. I promise to take care of your kids as you always did. The world has grabbed someone special in my life and a very hard-working husband. I promise to take care of all your projects and will encourage Kim and Kanaa to always put God first. I loved you but God loved you most. Rest well dear.
